California YSA Conference 2009 COMING UP!!
Please see a website for all of the details. Since we are in the Sacramento area, we will break down to smaller information. This is the state-wide YSA conference for youth age (18-31), including interested friends or families. If you really want to go and want to invite your friend with you, make sure to register online at www.californiaysa.org to purchase a ticket or more. Or click HERE to register for the conference. Do that as soon as you can! Let us know if you need an American Sign Language interpeter and we will set it up. It is Sister Rosanne Johnson at mattrosannejohnson@yahoo.com who is the coordinator of the interpeting program.
What: Speakers, workshops, a humanitarian project and social activities, all focused on (1) reaching out to one another and those around us, (2) becoming better citizens, and (3) living a temple-worthy life.
Why: In an unprecedented move, the priesthood leadership of California -- under the direction of the Area Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints -- has called the young adults of the state to come together in an effort to become spiritually strengthened and more unified.

For age 24 and older: Go to Scholar Way Building89 Scholar Way, Folsom, CA 95630 on SATURDAY and Deseret Avenue Building8267 Deseret Ave Fair Oaks, CA 95628 on SUNDAY
When: August 8th, Saturday all day and 9th, Sunday half day
Who: All California LDS young single adults (ages 18-31) and interested friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Conference Dress Code:
Saturday Doctrinal Workshops – Business casual
Men: Dress pants, collared shirtWomen: Dress/skirt or dress pants, nice top
> No jeans, no shorts, no flip-flops
> Examples of business casual.
Saturday Evening Activities, starting at 5:15pm
Note: Changing areas will be provided at each location. However, storage space will be limited.
Comfortable clothes: Athletic shorts (for sports), socks, shoes, t-shirt.
Dance - Nice, casual attire. Jeans allowed, no shorts.
